Problems Many Homeowners Notice
Most customers contact us when they begin noticing problems such as:
- Moss covering roof tiles
- Gutters constantly blocking
- Green algae staining walls
- Weeds growing through paving
- Surfaces starting to look worn or weathered
Left untreated, these issues can eventually lead to damage, expensive repairs and ongoing maintenance problems.
Our aim is to restore and protect exterior surfaces properly so the problems don’t keep coming back.
Common Roof & Exterior Problems We Help Solve
Many homeowners start looking for help when they notice problems developing on the outside of their property.
Some of the most common issues we help resolve include:
- Moss growing on roof tiles
- Roof tiles turning green or dark with algae
- Blocked gutters caused by moss falling from the roof
- Weeds growing through block paving or patios
- Exterior walls becoming green with algae staining
- Roofs shaded by trees developing heavy moss growth
If you’re noticing any of these problems, restoring the surfaces early can help prevent further damage and reduce ongoing maintenance.
Exterior 360° focuses on restoring and protecting these surfaces properly so the same issues don’t keep returning.

Why Exterior 360° Was Created
Exterior 360° was created after years working across exterior property trades.
During that time homeowners repeatedly asked the same questions:
- Will roof cleaning damage my roof?
- Is it going to cost thousands?
- Can I trust the company doing the work?
Unfortunately some companies charge extremely high prices while carrying out basic cleaning.
Exterior 360° was created to provide something different:
proper restoration, honest pricing and long-term protection.
Meet the Owner – Dave Holroyd
My name is Dave Holroyd, owner and Managing Director of Exterior 360° Ltd.
I’ve spent many years working across exterior property trades including roof restoration, paving restoration, exterior protection systems, groundwork and exterior spraying.
Over that time I’ve seen what systems genuinely last long-term — and what doesn’t.
Working alongside me is Jay Gilkes, the Project Lead at Exterior 360°, helping oversee projects and ensure work is carried out to the standard we expect.
Why Our Approach Is Different
Many companies clean roofs from the ground using long telescopic poles or scaffolding positioned at gutter height.
From the gutter line it is difficult to clearly see the upper rows of roof tiles near the ridge or areas around chimneys, especially when the pole is working at long reach and becomes harder to control.
This is particularly the case when cleaning is carried out from the ground using long telescopic poles, where accuracy and pressure control become more difficult at height.
From the ground the roof may appear clean, but when inspected closely you often find missed moss or staining, particularly near ridge areas and around chimney stacks.
Our focus is not simply making the roof look clean from the ground — but restoring it properly so the results last longer.
That’s also why, once the work is completed, we show you drone video footage of the roof, so you can clearly see the results for yourself.
Most homeowners can’t safely access the roof to inspect it closely, so the drone footage allows you to see exactly how clean and restored the roof is from above — the same way we inspect it ourselves.
Why We Use Spider Lift Access
Where access allows, we use a spider lift platform so work can be carried out safely and properly.
Working close to the roof allows us to:
- inspect tiles correctly
- remove moss carefully
- clean difficult areas around chimneys
- carry out repairs when required
Even on single-storey properties, the spider lift often allows safer and more precise work.
Our operators are IPAF trained, and scaffold systems are PASMA certified.
Safety, Training & Professional Standards
Exterior 360° operates with £5 million public liability insurance.
Most projects are carried out using a three-person team:
- two experienced restoration operators
- one dedicated ground operator responsible for monitoring safety and equipment
Our team members are trained in:
- IPAF access platform operation
- PASMA scaffold systems
- first aid trained personnel on site
Communication between the team is carried out using two-way radios to maintain a controlled working environment.
Professional Equipment & Custom-Built Trailer System
Exterior 360° operates using a custom-built restoration trailer designed specifically for exterior refurbishment work.
Many companies would require multiple vans to transport similar equipment.
Our trailer allows everything to be organised in one professional system, allowing us to arrive on site fully equipped and ready to begin work.
Equipment includes:
- two Honda pressure washing systems
- two Mazzoni hotbox hot water / steam units
- onboard water tank
- telescopic carbon fibre poles
- specialist roof restoration tools
This setup allows two operators to work continuously using controlled pressure and heat systems designed for safe roof restoration.
Equipment redundancy
Our trailer is equipped with two professional pressure washing systems, meaning if one unit were ever to develop a fault the second unit allows work to continue without bringing the job to a stop.
Operational backup
Because our equipment is organised within a custom-built trailer system, we can respond quickly if a vehicle ever has an issue.
If a vehicle were to break down, another vehicle can collect the trailer and bring it to site, allowing the work to continue shortly afterwards.
This helps ensure projects can continue with minimal disruption rather than leaving work unfinished.
Safe & Organised Site Setup
Safety and organisation are priorities on every project.
Our setup typically includes:
- hose protection ramps across footpaths
- safety cones and warning signage
- barriers and chain systems
- flashing safety lights where required
Once we arrive on site, we simply connect to the property’s water supply, set up our equipment and safety systems, and position the spider lift or scaffold systems where required.
Once everything is safely in place, the restoration work begins.
Typical Roof Restoration Price Guide
Every property is different, so roof size, pitch, extensions and access can affect the final price.
See What It Might Cost — Without Anyone Knocking at Your Door
Exterior 360° was designed so homeowners can explore pricing without doorstep sales visits.
We can often provide a guide estimate using satellite measurements such as Google Earth.
Satellite measurements usually slightly overestimate roof size, meaning the final price often stays the same or may even reduce after the survey.
Senior Citizen Discount
We offer a 5% senior citizen discount to help older homeowners maintain and protect their property.
Neighbourhood Savings Scheme
If several homes in the same area have work carried out at the same time, we can often pass genuine savings on.
The more neighbours involved, the more everyone saves.
Our Day-After Check Guarantee
We don’t request payment on the day of the clean.
Some surfaces need time to fully dry overnight.
So we return the next day to:
- inspect the work
- correct anything missed
- confirm the results with you
Only when the work is signed off and approved is payment requested.

We looked for someone to come to clean our roof which was extremely dirty and covered with moss etc. We found Dave after reading his reviews and seeing work he had completed on our neighbours property. We were given a set price and were able to pick which days were convenient to us. Dave and Jay arrived when stated, were friendly, professional, took care of our property and did everything they said they would. They cleaned up everything as stated and we had minimal disruption. We would highly recommend them and wouldn't hesitate to use them again for any cleaning jobs that we need doing. I couldn’t be happier with the service from Fibre and Fabric. I was initially very cautious about having my roof cleaned, as I had real concerns about potential damage to my property. They took the time to explain the steam cleaning process clearly and put me completely at ease. The results were fantastic — my roof looks incredibly clean and refreshed without any issues at all. They were professional from start to finish, cleaned up every bit of mess, and left the whole property looking better than it has in years. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Fibre and Fabric to anyone looking for a reliable, careful, and high-quality roof cleaning service.Posted on Debbie DriverTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
